We primarily work with stoneware and porcelain clays. Stoneware is durable and perfect for functional pieces, while porcelain offers a refined, translucent finish ideal for decorative work.

Yes, all our glazes are lead-free and food-safe. They are fired to cone 6 (approximately 1220°C) to ensure durability and safety for everyday use.

Hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish. While most pieces are dishwasher-safe, hand washing extends their lifespan. Avoid thermal shock by not placing hot items in cold water.

Most of our functional pottery is microwave-safe. However, pieces with metallic glazes or lustres should not be microwaved. Check individual product descriptions for specific guidance.

We fire our pottery to cone 6 (1220°C) in an electric kiln. This mid-range firing creates strong, durable pieces with vibrant glaze colours and excellent functionality.

We source our clay and materials from responsible suppliers and recycle clay scraps whenever possible. Our glazes are non-toxic and we minimise waste throughout the production process.
