It all began with a memorable 21st birthday gift, a year-long pottery course at Sunningwell School of Art. From that moment, wherever my life and career took me, I made sure to keep one evening a week set aside for clay.
Moving to Goring-on-Thames, a village nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside, felt like the right time to commit more fully allowing me to refine my craft. After renting a studio, I eventually moved everything into a space of my own.
Having my own studio at the bottom of the garden opened up a new chapter entirely. I've been able to experiment freely with glaze colours, shapes, and sizes — enjoying the creative process in a way that feels unhurried and deeply personal.
A special detail of my pottery is found on the base of each pot. I press lace imprints taken from my great grandmother's work, she was a lacemaker, quietly weaving a little of her craft into mine.
You'll find my work at local craft fairs around Oxfordshire, and open days at my studio. I also take commissions, so if you have a specific design in mind, please don't hesitate to get in contact
